Takashi in Superflat Wonderland
The museum is designed in the shape of Takashi’s famous flower with the floor colored according to the petals. The artworks displayed are all based on the Superflat art movement that he created himself. The curated items are also artworks that held high importance to Takashi throughout his years in contemporary art.
PHOTO BOOTH
Takashi Murakami is known for wearing loud and colorful outfits for his meet and greets or opening events. Which is the reason why I decided to have a photo booth for my interactive area. Takashi’s outfits and accessories will be used for props at the photo booth which will allow visitors to take photos with them.
MR DOB PAINTING
This is Takashi Murakami‘s first Mr Dob painting after he found his first cartoon character, Mr Dob. this painting is an acrylic artwork entitled 727, 1996.
